Back in 2011, lying on a beach in Honolulu, I found myself in this same old dilemma when suddenly, it hit me:

Why isn’t there an easier way for us to soak up the sun risk-free while avoiding unwanted tan lines? Surely there must be a better way. Someone should have figured out a better solution by now - right?

That same year, my attention quickly shifted to starting a family. The next thing I knew, I was busy juggling a corporate job and raising little ones. Years went by, but still, in the back of my mind, this idea never went away. I grew all the more frustrated that there was still no reliable solution I could buy for myself, especially one that would keep me secure as I chased after my kiddos.

It was time to take action. If other people could create successful products and businesses, then why not me?

So, I embarked on a multi-year journey of incessant learning about garment creation, starting a small business, the importance of branding, and so much more. At the same time, I knew I wanted to use this opportunity for a greater good: to empower each other, bridge gaps in our differences, unite through our innate beauty, and simply celebrate life!
